Automatic celebration posts every morning

How it works

1. At 07:00 company time, ZeniaHR checks the day's birthdays, work anniversaries, first days and confirmations among active employees.
2. It posts them on the company wall for the whole company, once for the day.
3. People who have hidden their birthday or anniversary are left out of the post.
4. Colleagues' wishes, including early ones kept from previous days, appear as comments under the post.
5. The person being celebrated gets a bell for each wish, and managers see their team's celebrations on My Team.
6. Today's celebrations also show on the HR dashboard and in each employee's self-service strip.

Worked example: a Monday morning in Chennai

At a logistics company in Chennai, the 07:00 post on Monday lists Lakshmi's birthday, Ravi's third work anniversary and Farhan's first day at the Ambattur warehouse. By noon there are 26 wishes under it, including one from Lakshmi's manager, who sent it on Friday before travelling. Priya in accounts also has her birthday that day but hid it last year, so she is not in the post and gets no attention she did not want. Farhan's welcome wishes are the first thing he sees when he logs in.

The automatic post does the routine part every day; people add the warmth. A few small habits from managers and HR turn a daily system post into something employees actually look forward to reading when they open the app in the morning.

• Ask managers to add the first wish for their own team members.
• Tell new joiners at induction that they can hide their birthday.
• Check that joining dates on employee records are correct, since anniversaries follow them.
• Use praise, not the celebration post, to thank someone for their work.
