  • Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits, compile schedules and drive closure of every observation.
  • Consolidate MIS, cash flow and cost reports for management, with variance notes against budget.
  • Approve payments, journal entries and provisions within the delegated authority and flag unusual items.
  • Improve finance processes and report formats to cut manual work and shorten the close.
  • Supervise receivable, payable and treasury activity and keep working capital within limits.
  • Stand in for the General Manager Finance in reviews, banker meetings and audit discussions.
  • Set goals for finance managers, review their teams and build cover for critical tasks.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance
  • Deep knowledge of statutory compliance and closing
  • CMA is an advantage
  • 10+ years in accounts with 3 to 4 years leading a team
