Assam notifies minimum wages under the Minimum Wages Act across 98 scheduled employments, with no zones. The general skill-band table above covers Shops and Commercial Establishments. Each rate is a basic wage plus a Variable Dearness Allowance linked to the Consumer Price Index, and the monthly figure is the daily rate multiplied by 26.
