How Chhattisgarh sets its minimum wages

Chhattisgarh fixes minimum wages by skill category across three zones (A, B and C), as a basic wage plus a Variable Dearness Allowance (currently ₹3,082 per month). The monthly figure is the daily rate multiplied by 26, and the schedule covers 45 scheduled employments.

These figures apply for 1 April to 30 September 2026 and will be revised on 1 October 2026.

Chhattisgarh revises the VDA twice a year, effective 1 April and 1 October, based on the All-India Consumer Price Index.
