How it works
- HR opens the dashboard; the Recruitment card shows the number of open requisitions and open positions.
- New requests lists recently raised requisitions, with drafts marked Draft.
- The pipeline bar shows active candidates by stage: New, Screening, Shortlisted, Interview, Selected and Offer sent. Hovering a stage shows its count.
- Upcoming interviews lists the interviews in the next 7 days.
- Next joiners lists accepted offers waiting to join, with the onboarding status or Onboarding not started.
- The Recruitment Hub link opens the full hub, where the work is done.
What you can set
- Counts: open requisitions and open positions.
- Pipeline stages: New, Screening, Shortlisted, Interview, Selected and Offer sent.
- Interviews: the next 7 days.
- Next joiners: accepted offers waiting to join, with onboarding status.
- New requests: recently raised requisitions, with drafts marked.
- Recruitment numbers cover the whole company, whatever the viewer's scope.
Why hiring belongs on the HR dashboard
Hiring problems show up in attendance later: an open position means overtime for the team covering it, and a joiner who does not turn up means a gap on the roster. Putting the pipeline next to attendance and approvals keeps hiring in the daily conversation. A thin Interview stage, or a list of offers with no onboarding, tells HR where to push today, before the gap reaches the shop floor or the counter.
Worked example: staffing a new store in Bhubaneswar
A retail chain is opening a store in Bhubaneswar and has 3 open requisitions for 14 positions: a store manager, 3 cashiers and 10 sales associates. On Monday the Recruitment card shows 46 active candidates: 18 New, 12 Screening, 7 Shortlisted, 5 Interview, 3 Selected and 1 Offer sent. Upcoming interviews lists 6 interviews this week, two of them for the store manager role.
Next joiners shows two cashiers who have accepted offers, one with onboarding at Pending Approval and one marked Onboarding not started. HR sends the second cashier the self-onboarding link that afternoon. The 18 candidates still in New show that screening is the bottleneck, so the recruiter blocks Tuesday morning to clear it before the weekend walk-in drive.
Using the snapshot
The snapshot is for spotting where hiring is stuck, not for managing candidates one by one. Use it to decide what to do today, then do the work in the Recruitment Hub, where the full profiles, screening notes and match scores are.
- A large New stage means screening is behind.
- Few candidates at Interview for a role means sourcing needs a push.
- Offers without onboarding need a call the same day.
- Check the week's interviews every Monday so panels are free.

What does the recruitment section of the HR dashboard show?
Open requisitions and positions, new requisition requests, the active candidate pipeline by stage from New to Offer sent, interviews in the next 7 days, and the next joiners from accepted offers with their onboarding status. It links to the Recruitment Hub for the full detail.
Can I see upcoming interviews on the dashboard?
Yes. The Recruitment card lists interviews in the next 7 days, so HR can check panels and rooms at the start of the week. In the Recruitment Hub, candidates pick from the interview slots offered to them, and those bookings appear on the card.
Are the recruitment numbers limited to my branch?
No. Requisitions are company-wide, so the recruitment numbers on the dashboard cover the whole company for everyone who sees it. Attendance, approvals and joiners, by contrast, follow the viewer's data scope.
