HR reports and attendance analytics

ZeniaHR has two kinds of reporting. Ready reports, over 130 of them, cover payroll, attendance, leave, employees, documents, compliance, statutory registers, PF, ESI, gratuity and settlement, bonus and wages, each with filters and CSV export. Attendance Analytics turns a month of punches into charts: late against on-time days, lateness and breaks by department, an absence grid and the people late most often. Its numbers come from the same rules engine that feeds payroll, so the charts and the salary deductions agree.

Who uses it

HR teamRuns leave, employee and document reports for a period, branch or department, exports them to CSV and reviews the attendance analytics every month.
FinanceUses the payroll, statutory, PF, ESI, gratuity and bonus report categories for filings, reconciliations and auditors, within the rights of the Finance role.
Company headReads the monthly analytics for lateness, absence and break patterns by department, and the headcount and attrition reports for planning.

Ready reports

The Reports page groups over 130 reports by category. Pick one, set the filters it uses, such as a payroll period, a date range, a branch or a department, generate it on screen and export it to CSV. A separate list of quick reports gives four workforce views: headcount by department, employees by status, employees by designation and salary bands. Reports respect the branch you are working in and, once access control is on, the data scope of your role.

Attendance analytics

Attendance Analytics looks at one month at a time for HRMS Core staff. It separates late days from counted late marks, shows on-time days and days with no shift to judge against, averages break minutes and counts over-break days by department, and maps absence by department and day. Because the numbers come from the same grading engine as the payroll feed and the day log, a deduction on a payslip can be traced back to the same days in the charts.

What each category covers

The report library is organized so that each team finds its own set quickly. HR mostly lives in the employee, leave and document categories, finance in payroll and statutory ones, and management in the headcount views and the monthly attendance analytics.

Frequently asked questions

What HR reports does ZeniaHR have?

Over 130 ready reports across payroll, attendance, leave, employees, documents, compliance, statutory registers, PF, ESI, gratuity and settlement, bonus and wages, plus four quick workforce reports. Attendance Analytics adds monthly charts for lateness, breaks and absence, built from the same rules engine that feeds payroll.

Can I export ZeniaHR reports to Excel?

Yes. Every ready report can be exported to CSV, which opens directly in Excel. Generate the report with the filters you need, check it on screen, then export it for your records, your auditor or further analysis with pivot tables.

Can a branch manager run reports only for their branch?

Yes. Reports follow the branch you are working in, and once access control is switched on, they also follow the data scope of your role. A role with Branch scope sees only its own branch's employees in reports, and a role with Hierarchy scope sees only its reporting line.

Will the late and absence numbers match salary deductions?

Yes, for HRMS Core attendance. The attendance rules decide which days are late, half days or absent, and the same engine feeds the monthly payable days to payroll and the numbers in Attendance Analytics. There is no separate calculation that could drift from what employees are paid.
