Frequently asked questions

What does a centre head do in a coaching institute?

A centre head runs a coaching branch end to end. They plan batches, hit admission and fee targets, schedule faculty, run tests, track student scores, handle parents and control branch costs. They report the branch's numbers to the regional head every week and lead the counselling, front office and support teams.

What skills are needed to become a coaching centre head?

The role needs sales and admission funnel skills, batch and timetable planning, fee collection discipline, basic budgeting and the ability to run tests on a tight schedule. Just as important are people skills: counselling anxious parents, keeping faculty punctual and coaching a young counselling team to meet targets.

Who reports to a coaching centre head?

Admission and academic counsellors, front office and accounts executives, batch coordinators and support staff usually report to the centre head. Faculty often report academically to a subject head or academic head, but follow the centre head's schedule for lectures, tests and doubt sessions at that branch.
