How it works
- An employee opens the wall in the ZeniaHR app and sees posts for the whole company or for their branch or department.
- An announcement that needs acknowledgement shows a prompt; the employee reads and acknowledges it, and HR's who-acknowledged report updates.
- In a poll, the employee picks one option or several, as the poll allows, before it closes.
- Employees react and comment, and can report a post that should not be there.
- They can write general posts when the company's wall settings allow everyone to post.
- Celebrations and praise are in the app too: wish a colleague on a birthday or anniversary, or give praise with a badge.
What you can set
- In the app: read, react, comment, acknowledge, vote, report and write general posts.
- On the web only: composing announcements and polls.
- Audience: the whole company, chosen branches or chosen departments.
- Who may post announcements: HR only, or HR and managers, set by HR.
- Everyone can post on the wall: yes or no; comments on or off.
- Birthdays shown to colleagues by default: yes or no, and each person can hide their own.
Why announcements belong on the phone
In a plant or a chain of stores, a notice on the board reaches whoever walks past, and a WhatsApp forward reaches whoever reads it. When an announcement matters, such as a revised shift timing, a safety rule or a holiday change, HR needs to know who has seen it. Putting the company wall in the app puts it where people already are, and an announcement that needs acknowledgement gives HR a list of who has read it and who has not.
Worked example: field officers across Vidarbha
A Nagpur agri-inputs company has 90 field officers who visit dealers and farmers across Vidarbha and rarely come to the office. HR posts a revised travel allowance rule on the web as an announcement for the Field Sales department that needs acknowledgement. The officers read and acknowledge it on their phones between visits, and by the next evening 81 of the 90 have acknowledged. HR opens the who-acknowledged report and sends the other nine names to the regional managers.
The same week HR runs a poll on the web asking which month suits the annual sales meet, closing on Saturday evening, and the officers vote from the field. When officer Pradeep Thakre runs a training camp for 200 farmers in Wardha, his regional manager gives him praise with the Above and beyond badge, and the post collects reactions and comments from officers across the region.
Keeping the wall useful
A wall that carries everything soon carries nothing anyone reads. Keep announcements for things that change what people do, and let praise and celebrations carry the everyday warmth. HR and the company head moderate the wall: they can hide or delete posts and review reported ones.
- Ask for acknowledgement only on announcements that change rules or safety.
- Address posts to the branches or departments they concern, not the whole company.
- Set a closing time on every poll, and say how the result will be used.
- Review reported posts daily, and dismiss reports that do not break the rules.

Can employees read company announcements on the app?
Yes. The company wall is in the ZeniaHR app, with announcements, polls, general posts, celebrations and praise addressed to the whole company or to the employee's branch or department. Employees can react, comment, vote and acknowledge announcements from their phone.
How does HR know who has read an announcement?
An announcement can require acknowledgement. Employees acknowledge it in the app or on the web, and HR opens the who-acknowledged report to see who has and who has not. This is useful for rule changes, safety notices and policy updates that everyone must read.
Can employees create polls from the app?
No. Polls and announcements are composed on the web by the people allowed to post them. In the app, employees vote in polls, read and acknowledge announcements, react, comment, report posts, and write general posts if the company lets everyone post.
